Michael Zomber’s Novels Show The Perils Of War

Michael Zomber is known for his award-winning novels. One thing that many people may not know about his is that he is one of the foremost gun experts in the world. Zomber has quite a collection of guns, Samurai swords and other weapons that he has collected over 40 years.

Many gun enthusiasts may have seen Zomber on the History Channel show “Tales of the Gun.” This award-winning series profiles guns from all over the world and from every era. Zomber’s expertise can be seen in all 8 episodes.

The Philadelphia native has writing in his blood. He received a bachelors degree in English literature from he University of Illinois. After a few academic positions, he concentrated on his writing. Zomber receives a great deal of praise for his ability to tell stories. As listed on his IMDb profile, some of Zomber’s works include the Civil War novels Sweet Betsy, That’s Me and Son of Kentucky. Other published novels include Soul of the Samurai, set in 17th century Japan and Jesus and the Samurai, which explores Christianity and the Samurai.

A world traveler, Zomber has seen the ramifications of war up close and personal. He supports world organizations UNICEF, Doctors Without Borders and Amnesty International.
